Betty Crocker’s Chocolate Chip Cookies (#10)

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup butter softened
  • 1 egg large
  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup coarsely chopped nuts optional
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Heat oven to 375. Mix sugars, butter, and egg in a large bowl. Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Stir in nuts and chocolate chips. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake 8-10 minutes or until light brown. Cool slightly before transferring to wire rack.
